Proof Reading

Proof reading is a check for spelling and grammatical errors. This is usually done after a round of development and line editing.

Starting at 1 cent per word.

Line Editing

Line by line editing for clarity, precision, and accuracy. Major language changes may take place during this stage.

Starting at 2 cents per word.

Developmental Editing

Whole manuscript review and critique, mainly focused on story continuity, readability, character development, and plot.

Starting at 3 cents per word.

All forms of editing follow this process:

1. Fill out the below form to get a quote.

2. Include the first ten pages of your manuscript as a Word document, double spaced, with no book formatting.

3. I will send back a quote, based on the cleanliness of those ten pages.

4. If you approve the quote, I will send you back your first ten pages, edited.

5. If you approve of that ten page edit, we will sign a contract for the rest of your edit.

*If your first ten pages were well edited, but the rest of the your manuscript is not, I reserve the right to change or terminate your contract.
If you do not agree to the new contract quote, we will terminate your contract, with costs paid only for the portion that has already been edited,

at the original contract per word price.

I prefer work in the thriller or horror genres, but am willing to take on other genres on a case by case basis. Please fill out the form and
